One Way System es una banda de Street Punk formada en Fleetwood Lancashire, Inglaterra, en 1979.

tenía una alineación inicial de Craig Halliday (guitarra), Gavin Whyte (voz), Tez Mcdonald (batería) y Gaz Buckley (bajo).

El Demo de la cancion "Jerusalem" aparecio en el recopilatorio "A Country Fit For Heroes", Esta cancion alcanzo el 4° puesto en las listas del Reyno Unido.

Poco despues de este golpe, hubo algunos cambios en la banda quedando con la siguiente formacion, Gavin Whyte en la voz, David Ross guitarra, en el bajo Gaz Buckley  y Tom Couch en la batería.
